Coming from a Lakers fan, I have to say that Boston truly deserves this. From coming up short against the Warriors and losing to the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, this team has grown tremendously. Though I am not happy about the Celtics winning their 18th title because I am a huge Lakers fan, I have to say that they do deserve this.
They definitely do. During the broadcast, ESPN kept showing us the playoff games without a championship thing statistic and man Jayson Tatum deserves it. The amount of effort they put every season to get to the Eastern Conference Finals or the Finals and then you lose! This was a complete team from the start (Celtics). They were damn good even when they played the Warriors. Steph Curry was the one and only reason the Warriors won that one.
The Mavs are a very young team and they'll definitely come back.
