I understand your argument but I think they can't be spending even more money. Soto is going to be expensive & spending even more money can ruin their future because of the loss of draft picks & international signings.

Absolutely not. Teams like the Dodgers and the Yankees have good owners to go out and spend on good players. Whereas the Phillies and Mets go after old players that just aren't good anymore. Then there are teams like the A's and the Rockies that just don't do anything.

Understandable. Would still be unfair to us fans of other teams that the Dodgers would be spending around $2B on around 4 or 5 players.
Absolutely not. No shade here, but it's the other teams' fault to not go for big players like Juan Soto.
