I really appreciate you guys if you read these posts frequently. It takes much time to make the best out of the best article for people to read. Btw: I feel good with what I’ve been working with this month. Thank you so much for all the reads and shares y’all been giving me.
Draymond Green Suspended Indefinitely
5 years ago, you read the first two words and are probably like, what did he do? In a good way.
December 15th, 2023, you read the first two words and are probably like, what did he do now… Not in a good way.
5 years ago, you read the third word and are probably like, WHAT! No way, well I guess it happened. He won’t do it again.
December 15th, 2023, you read the third word and are probably like, I hate the hell out of you Draymond. You’re just wasting the Warriors money they could easily have spent on someone else VALUABLE.
Indefinitely, though, makes me feel a bit weird. He only has 2 penalty points this season out of the 5 he’s supposed to have. Why does the track record even matter? Sure, he held someone in a chokehold. Sure, he has a track record for getting ejected a lot, but that doesn’t mean you should pile his old record on him this season, although he hasn’t changed.
I’m on both sides here. I not only say that this was the best move ever by the NBA, but I also say that this is the WORST move ever by the NBA.
I probably went too far, though. If you ask me to tell you why he was suspended? Well, it was because of this.
Draymond argued that he was trying to sell the call, and Nurkic believes that. He will not return to the Warriors unless he passes a few league and team conditions, and stars like Kevin Durant say that they hope that Draymond gets the help that he needs. Anyway, here’s more on how the Warriors want to go the right way with Draymond. And yes, he probably will come back this season.
Oklahoma City Dodgers ditch team name in rebrand
The Oklahoma City's triple-A baseball team has announced a name change! Wow another one in another sport. I wonder if the NBA is next to change a team’s name. Effective immediately, the team will be known as the Oklahoma City Baseball Club, until it unveils a permanent name in 2024. However, it is important to note that the team will remain an affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In a news release, Michael Byrnes, the President and General Manager of the Oklahoma City Baseball Club, said, “For the last nine years, it has been an honor and a privilege to share one of the most iconic brands in all of professional sports. However, we’re excited this new era affords us the opportunity to strengthen our connection to our community and reinforce that we are Oklahoma City’s team.”
The team is already undergoing the process of determining what its permanent name will be, according to a news release.
Winter Meetings Recap
1)
The NFL is planning to review one of the most controversial rules in football during this offseason. According to CBS Sports NFL lead Insider Jonathan Jones, the league's EVP Troy Vincent has stated that they will discuss amending the touchback rule regarding fumbling through the end zone.
This is an important development, as there hasn't been much conversation among decision-makers about changing the rule in recent years. Earlier this year, when asked if there had been any formal discussion to change the rule, a competition committee source texted Jones saying, "None."
The current NFL rulebook states that if a ball is fumbled in the field of play and goes forward into the opponent's end zone and over the end line or sideline, a touchback is awarded to the defensive team. Although this is a rare occurrence, every time this rule is enforced in a game, it is met with criticism.
In September, Jones reported that one issue regarding a potential change was what the alternative ruling would be. Could the line of scrimmage for the fumbling party be moved back to the 20-yard line instead of automatically awarding possession to the defense? Could this be treated like an intentional grounding penalty with a loss of down?
This alternative ruling to replace the touchback may be the key to a change in the rule. Nothing is guaranteed at this point, but the NFL has confirmed that it will indeed review this rule.

The NFL has been holding international games since 2007, and in that time, the Dallas Cowboys have only been scheduled for one game, which came in 2014 when they played the Jaguars in London.
In that 31-17 win, the Cowboys were the visiting team, which means that after 16 years of international games, Dallas still hasn't had to "host" a game. There's a reason for that: Jerry Jones doesn't want to lose a home game and all the profit that comes with that.
"I'm very reluctant to move a home game from here to there," Jones said Wednesday of playing internationally, via the team's official website. "We have a lot of fans. It fits for a lot of clubs, it doesn't fit for the Cowboys as much. We got the highest attendance in the NFL, of course. When we don't have a game here, it makes a big difference."
The problem for the Cowboys is that they're likely not going to have a choice anymore when it comes to "hosting" an international game. During the NFL's annual winter meeting Wednesday, the league's 32 owners voted to expand the international schedule.
For the past two years, there have been a total of five international games, but that number will be jumping up to nine in 2025. (There will be eight games plus a Jaguars' London game.) The addition of four extra games is going to have a major impact on the Cowboys because they will now HAVE to "host" an international game whether they like it or not.
If the Cowboys are going to be forced to "host" an international game, Jones said he's only open to one location.
"When we aren't playing here, I want to be in Mexico City. Period." Jones said. "Mexico City is good and close. If I'm going international, I want to play in Mexico City. Mainly because of our fans and our following and the affinity that we get here back home in the United States."
Shohei Ohtani Introductory Press Conference
He said, “They show the same values like me!”
Why is that so powerful?
Well he basically roasted the entire Angels organization.
